Short films she wrote, directed, and acted in have appeared on IFC Independent Film Channel), and at film festivals. Currently she's directing and starring in a feature length indie film called "Carolina Blue," a period piece with musical sequences set in the 1970's, which is now in post-production.
You may have seen Grant on the Hyundai Hope on Wheels promotion to raise awareness for childhood cancer research on channel 9.
A visual artist too, she is one of Denver's top face painters! Available for birthdays and special events.
Kayti loves working at Adam's Mystery Playhouse and has toured with these players, performing at U.S. military bases throughout Japan, South Korea, England, Germany, Guam, Hawaii, and Alaska. She's been in local theater productions and was named "Best Actress in a Comedy" by Out Front and Life on Capitol Hill newspapers for her role as Hypatia in Germinal Stage's "Misalliance" by George Bernard Shaw. She starred as the lead role in Roald Dahl's "B. F. G." at the Arvada Center, which won Best Children's Production from the Denver Post. Other award-winning shows include: "Suddenly Last Summer," role of Katherine Holly, and "A Delicate Balance," role of Julia, both at The Germinal, and "Picasso at the Lapin Agile" by Steve Martin, at The Avenue Theater, role of Suzanne and female admirer.
Her short fiction has appeared in the anthologies Fast Forward Vol I and II, which is currently a finalist for a Colorado Book Award. A chapbook of her poetry and art, entitled "Interior Life," is coming out later this year through Monkey Puzzle Press.
