Jim first caught the acting bug when he was eight and faked getting sick so he didn't have to go to school. That first foray was so successful (evidenced by him mom letting him stay in bed all day and even bringing him ice cream and comic books), he decided to make a living at it. Jim has performed all across the Midwest, and has been seen in such shows as "Death of a Salesman", "I Hate Hamlet", "Desperate Affection", and "The Complete History of America (Abridged)". He was also a member of the Comedy Sportz improv team in Minneapolis, and established, trained, and directed his own troupe in Duluth, Minnesota. Jim is thrilled to be one of the Adams Mystery players, loves sharing the stage with such a talented group of performers, and still calls in "sick" to work from time to time.

Marco has over 20 years experience in Show-Biz; mainly in the stand-up arena. He's toured in over 30 states and 14 foreign countries entertaining our troops. Opened for the likes of Tim Allen Jerry Seinfeld and Ellen Degeneres. As if that wern't enough he also flosses every day and is good with house plants! A welcome addition to our stellar line-up!

Elizabeth has been performing her whole life! Singing, dancing, acting and character playing ever since she was a child and watched all the older movie musicals on televison helped her to strike out and take the stage! Starting out in school plays and choruses, then joining community theaters and choral groups from Califorina to Colorado. Favorite stage shows include 'Oklahoma as Ado Annie', 'Brigadoon', 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' as well as singing with the Marina Singers and the Littleton Choral Society. Characers include: Snow White, Mary Poppins, Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, Belle from Beauty & the Beast, Cinderella & more which she has perfomed at children's birthday partys and pre-school program's special events. She has been working the improv with Marne Inter-Active Production/Talent Denver for over 10 years and enjoys the creativity and spontenaity of working with her fellow performers either on stage in shows or as a 'walk around character' at public and private venues.

Carlos has a long history of restaurant management, sales and venue coordination. His career began at the age of fourteen in the family business, the Cuellar El Chico restaurant chain, located in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Colorado. He ran the kitchen and helped his father with the over-all management. Carlos continued in his chef career in the US Army, ordering supplies and feeding the troops. His sales career is extensive, working 20+ years for Dependable Cleaners, Ecolab and Coit Cleaners. His civic awards include: Lakewood Diversity Counsel; West Colfax redevelopment and Lakewood on Parade. Carlos is the co-owner of Adams Mystery Playhouse.

Nancy has been acting professionally for about 20 years, and doing film and commercial work for the last 10 years. She has Bachelor's degree in Theatre, as well as, training with coaches from L.A and New York. In addition to her 10 years with Death For Dinner Mysteries, Nancy has done some producing, directing, and writing.

Short films she wrote, directed, and acted in have appeared on IFC Independent Film Channel), and at film festivals. Currently she's directing and starring in a feature length indie film called "Carolina Blue," a period piece with musical sequences set in the 1970's, which is now in post-production.

You may have seen Grant on the Hyundai Hope on Wheels promotion to raise awareness for childhood cancer research on channel 9.

A visual artist too, she is one of Denver's top face painters! Available for birthdays and special events.

Kayti loves working at Adam's Mystery Playhouse and has toured with these players, performing at U.S. military bases throughout Japan, South Korea, England, Germany, Guam, Hawaii, and Alaska. She's been in local theater productions and was named "Best Actress in a Comedy" by Out Front and Life on Capitol Hill newspapers for her role as Hypatia in Germinal Stage's "Misalliance" by George Bernard Shaw. She starred as the lead role in Roald Dahl's "B. F. G." at the Arvada Center, which won Best Children's Production from the Denver Post. Other award-winning shows include: "Suddenly Last Summer," role of Katherine Holly, and "A Delicate Balance," role of Julia, both at The Germinal, and "Picasso at the Lapin Agile" by Steve Martin, at The Avenue Theater, role of Suzanne and female admirer.

Her short fiction has appeared in the anthologies Fast Forward Vol I and II, which is currently a finalist for a Colorado Book Award. A chapbook of her poetry and art, entitled "Interior Life," is coming out later this year through Monkey Puzzle Press.

Nick has been acting professionally for more years than he'd like to admit. He has performed at the Arvada Center, Littleton, Town Hall, The Denver Civic and the Changing Scene — to name a few. His short film, The Hounds of Fate, was screened at the Taos Talking Pictures Festival. In addition to acting in the Mysteries, Nick writes and directs many of the shows — and works upstairs.

Chris was brought to Adam's Mystery Playhouse on a fluke accident. He was playing a piano performance one day only to be making enough jokes to catch Marne and Carlos' attention. They both approached him asking if he would be interested in joining a Playhouse, and he was ecstatic to do so, and has been with them ever since.

Besides a regular performer here in mystery theater, Jake’s a seasoned stand-up comic who has worked with some of the best talents in comedy including Richard Jeni and Kevin Nealon from Saturday Night Live. Over the years, you may have seen some of his loony television commercial characters. His voice is heard on TV, radio, audio dramas and corporate video. Jake continues to entertain audiences through observational humor, impersonations, puns, sound effects and parodies. "Hispanic" & "Latin Heat" magazines ranked Jake one of the "Top 100 Comics in America." Jake’s just as comfortable behind the nightclub microphone as he is in front of the Board of Directors of any Fortune 500 company. There he’s facilitated leadership retreats, team building forums, and workplace humor seminars.

Juli has a versatile, gorgeous voice that has been thrilling audiences for years. She started performing in theatre when but a wee lass of 6. Voice lessons, stardom and magic have followed ever since. Her love affair with the stage began as a cloud in "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" and led to favorite roles: Kate in "Kiss Me Kate," Philia in "Forum" and Marian Paroo in "Music Man." Juli has been happily performing interactive murder mysteries for more than 10 years and is also currently singing with the boys in the award winning A Cappella group Cool Shooz. And if you're looking for a duo that can do it all, country, jazz, or old time 50's female vocalists, Juli fills the bill singing with one of Denver's favorite pianists, Larry O'Connor. "Walk around" characters include Annie Oakley, a saloon girl and Liza Minneli. She has toured shows for the military in England, Germany, Japan and South Korea and loves vamping it up here at Adams Mystery Playhouse!

Marne has performed, directed and produced over 3,000 shows in her career. In addition to being a talent booking agent, Marne wrote and casted long-running training films for Jones Intercable, was a principal in TV commercials for the Denver Post, Scott's Liquid Gold and an extra in the Perry Mason television series. Her on-stage productions and acting include hundreds of clients, such as: the Department of Defense US military shows overseas; Coors Brewery; Hewlett Packard; IBM; Storage Tech; the town of Broomfield; the town of Thornton; The Broadmoor Hotel; Keystone Resorts; Breckenridge Chamber; Vail Resorts; Half-Moon Resorts Jamaica; and many more. She has been event planner and coordinator for many large events, including: Lakewood on Parade, Handmade Soapmakers Guild and Acuity Brands. Marne is the co-owner of Adams Mystery Playhouse.
